and administered by Fort Snelling State Park.

Weddings:

Once you have made your reservation for the use of the chapel, you will need to make arrangement for your choice of clergy, musicians and photographer, etc.
A few suggestions for the next steps:
Select and book clergy; organist and other musician; photographer;
and videographer. Rev. Kenneth L Beale, Jr., Chaplain and Rev. Michael Wallman, Associate Chaplain for the
Foundation, may be available for your wedding. To learn more about Ken or Mike and
their backgrounds read the page at this website entitled “Our
Chaplain.” To discuss your wedding plans with Ken call (cell)

Craig Tennison is a seasoned professional that plays the organ at the Chapel each Sunday for the 11:00 a.m. worship service and also for many special events. Lists of other individuals willing to officiate and perform for wedding ceremonies may be obtained through the DNR. You have the freedom to choose any clergy, photographer and musician for your wedding at the chapel.
Observe the Chapel in use
You are invited to attend the non-denominational worship service any Sunday
at 11:00 am. The Chapel is open for tours on the first and third Sundays
of each month from 1:30 -3:00 pm. Otherwise the Chapel is locked and access
is not possible.
If you are not able to attend a service, go to the "Virtual Tour" icon at this web site and review the photos and history of the Chapel's beautiful interior.
The Foundation will rent to wedding parties 14 candleholders that can be affixed to the end of the pews. A rental fee of $125.00 includes the holder; the glass hurricane covers and white candles. There are a couple of convenient and popular locations near the Chapel:
The Fort Snelling Officers Club located at Highway 5 and Post Road, Fort Snelling is open to the public. This site has different size banquet rooms to choose from and offers a full menu and bar service. For further information or to make a reservation contact reservations at 651/767-1960.
Woolley’s Restaurant within the Embassy Suites Bloomington located at 7901 34th Ave. just off of Highway 494 is a popular location for receptions following an event at the Chapel. This site has numerous options for room size and offers a full menu and bar service. For further information or to make a reservation, contact Woolley’s at 952/854-1010.
Provide driving directions to the Chapel to all invitees and vendors. The Chapel can be challenging for newcomers to find within the Fort Snelling properties, however with simple directions it is easily found.

Funerals:
Select your funeral date and time.
Reserve the Chapel for the funeral call 612/725-2390
Generally if a mortuary is involved, a representative will make this call for you. The Chapel is reserved for funerals weekdays for limited periods of time.
Provide driving directions to the Chapel to all invitees and vendors.
Florists who are not familiar with the Chapel may have difficulty finding
it without some assistance.
