Our Special Music will be Tony and Julie Kelzer
Tony and Julie have always been involved in both sacred and secular music.
Tony started playing guitar, along with studying music and taking voice lessons, at the St. Paul Cathedral at age 7. He began playing/singing at St. Patrick’s Church in St. Paul in 6th grade.
Julie’s grandparents had a swing band in S. Dakota, and this early training led to a music degree from Bethel College.
They are currently active with the music ministry at St. Ambrose in Woodbury and enjoy singing barbershop—Julie with the Lake Country Sweet Adelines and Tony with the North Star Chorus, which includes his quartet Loose Change.
Tony and Julie are happily retired and reside in South Maplewood.
