WORSHIP SERVICES

Every Sunday at 11:00 a.m. a non-denominational Christian worship service is held in the historic Fort Snelling Memorial Chapel (Hwys 5 & 55) – just follow historic signs). The worship service, hosted by the Fort Snelling Memorial Chapel Foundation, is formatted to appeal to persons of all Christian faiths. Each Sunday service is followed by a time of fellowship and refreshments in the Fellowship Hall (Chapel basement).CDs and DVDs of the worship service are available by placing an order in the Fellowship Hall following the service or by calling the Fort Snelling Memorial Chapel Foundation office at 952-888-1525.

Special music is provided each Sunday by excellent vocal and instrumental guests.

Because of its unique emphasis on remembering the veteran, several special services are held throughout the year on the Sunday nearest the holiday. These include Four-Chaplains Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, 9/11 Remembrance, US Constitution Sunday, POW/MIA Remembrance, Gold Star Family Sunday, and Pearl Harbor Day.

Additionally, we celebrate other Christian and National holidays such as New Year’s, Sanctity of Life Sunday, Presidents Day, Ash Wednesday, Good Friday, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Labor Day, All Saints Day, Worldwide Communion Sunday, Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve.

Seating is limited at our special observances. Early attendance is recommended. Parking spaces are available.

The Chapel is handicap accessible. An elevator is available for access to all levels of the facility. Hearing devices are available at all worship services.

Holy Communion is offered periodically (refer to The Snelling Spirit Newsletter at) and is open for all to receive as a sacramental gift from God. The communion elements (wafer/gluten free host and individual cups of wine/grape juice) can be received either seated in the pew or kneeling at the altar rail.

If you desire baptism, please contact our office at 952-888-1525.
